Terms of Service

These terms apply when you book or receive mobile car detailing from Westchester Wash Co. ("we", "us") in Westchester County, New York. Booking a service means you agree to them. Questions: [email protected] or (914) 598-1302.

Booking

You can book by call, text or email. A booking is confirmed when we reply with a date and time. Please tell us the vehicle, the service you want, the address, and anything unusual about the vehicle's condition, such as heavy pet hair, sand, mold, smoke or stains, so we can quote accurately and bring the right equipment.

Pricing

Prices on our website are starting prices by vehicle size and assume a vehicle in normal condition. If a vehicle needs more work than a standard service, we will tell you the price before we start and you can decide whether to go ahead. Add-ons are priced separately. Prices may change, but a price we have confirmed for a booked job stays as quoted.

Payment

Payment is due when the job is complete. We accept card, Apple Pay, Zelle, Venmo and cash. We do not require a deposit for first-time customers. If a payment is declined or not made, we may decline future bookings until it is settled.

Access and what we need from you

Please make sure the vehicle is where you said it would be, unlocked or with a key available, and that we can park and work next to it. Please remove personal items, valuables and anything you do not want cleaned. We are not responsible for items left in the vehicle. If we arrive and cannot access the vehicle, we will try to reach you; if we cannot complete the job, a trip fee of up to $40 may apply.

Cancellations and weather

You can cancel or reschedule free of charge up to 24 hours before your appointment. Cancellations with less than 24 hours' notice may be charged a $40 fee, at our discretion. Interior work goes ahead in light rain. For exterior work in rain or freezing weather we will reschedule to the next available time at no charge.

Condition of the vehicle and our responsibility

We look over each vehicle before starting and point out existing damage such as scratches, chips, swirl marks, worn or cracked trim, loose parts, or stains we may not be able to fully remove. We are not responsible for pre-existing damage or for wear that becomes visible once a vehicle is clean. Some stains, odors, oxidation and scratches cannot be fully removed; we will tell you when we think that is the case. If something is damaged because of our work, tell us within 48 hours and we will put it right or compensate you for the reasonable cost of repair. Our liability for any job is limited to the amount you paid for it.

Results

If you are not happy with part of a job, tell us within 48 hours and we will come back and fix it at no charge. We want you to call us again.

By texting us or asking us to text you, you agree to receive messages about your bookings. Reply STOP to opt out at any time. Message and data rates may apply. See our Privacy Policy for how we handle your information.

The content on westchesterwashco.com is provided as general information about our services. We try to keep it accurate but it may contain errors, and a quote we give you directly takes priority over anything on the site.

General

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York. If any part of them cannot be enforced, the rest still applies. We may update these terms by posting a new version here with a new effective date.
